Position Description: 

The primary and ultimate responsibility of the International Supply Chain Planning Analyst is to manage and ensure the data accuracy of forecast files with assigned international vendors through processes and data analysis. Manage reporting of inventory, order quantities, in-stock rates, fill rates, PO Aging, etc.

  • Execute processes to create monthly forecast and order files.
  • Proactively identify stock out issues, determine root cause, and resolve pertaining issues leading to continued improvement.
  • Coordinate with business to ensure proper inventory levels at stocking ship-to locations.
  • Support business with ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
  • Update the tracking of vendor KPIs and collaborate with vendors on continuous improvement.
  • Creation of Executive S&OP content for International Supply Chain group
  • Track purchase forecast accuracy in accordance with the demand plan forecast and inventory forecast.
  • Assist in all planning functions of the International Supply Chain department including but not limited to the order planning for all offshore produced products.
  • Design and create new tools to help improve the planning functions of supply chain.
  • Project forward looking inventory position and financial implications
  • Project line level purchase volumes and transportation requirements

Experience(s) that Best Prepares You:

  • Education:  Minimum High School Diploma / GED, but prefer Undergraduate Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or Technical area.
  • Experience:  Strong analytical background preferably in inventory / purchasing / supply chain with exposure to forecasting and replenishment concepts / systems / processes. Experience and success working in a team environment.  Industry and product knowledge exposure helpful.

Key Competencies:

  • Clear understanding of supply chain network and processes.
  • Strong analytical capability with aptitude to navigate large quantities of data efficiently and identify trends or inconsistencies.
  • Fluency in Excel and Oracle ERP (or similar supply chain management technology). (Advanced excel skills with high efficiency in Oracle reporting, etc.)
  • Think strategically and innovatively:  Identify and act on ideas which further the Company’s strategic goals and business plan. (High level business processes, strategy and forecasting)
