Position Description: 

The primary responsibility of the Director of Digital eCommerce Delivery is as follows:
As Director of Digital eCommerce Delivery, you will be directly managing a team of Managers who will support a team working within the Hybris eCommerce Suite with a focus on Agile development and delivery. This is a high impact, high visibility role charged with delivering on IT Strategy. We are looking for a leader, passionate about building best in-class customer experiences, engineering complex, secure and high-quality reliable software.

Required Skills:

  • Experienced in open-source and cloud-based technologies, agile methodologies and reliability based modern software engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring and growing the team. Organized, structured and understands what it takes to manage/build a scalable organization.
  • Efficiently and consistently deliver large, complex projects, setting the example for collaboration across teams and departments (both technical and non-technical)
  • Cultivated a deep understanding of E-Commerce technologies with a focus on Hybris, system architecture and are passionate about building high-quality software
  • A Leader who attracts, hires and retains top talent, building a diverse team while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
  • Manage relationships with vendors as well as departmental budgets
  • Comfortable with interacting at C-Level and have a strong Executive presence in addition to excellent communication skills (presentation and written), organizational and analytical skills.                                                                                                         

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate management, project management, Hybris Developer, IT consulting, or related field
  • Experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
  • Deep knowledge of Hybris, Angular and experience with a variety of technical tools highly valuable.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, as well as managing operational and/or project financial budgets
  • Experience building / supporting retail ecommerce B2B

Preferred Education / Experience

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience developing commercial applications and complex systems
  • 7+ years of experience in developing and delivering eCommerce, CRM, Web and Mobile applications.
  • 5+ Years of demonstrated history of starting, hiring and growing world class teams
    Experience with agile methodologies and best practices such as Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.


Technical Tools Utilized

  • Experience with Hybris 5.5 or 5.x, v5.xx preferred (Hybris foundational concepts and have experience and knowledge of multichannel architecture, data modeling with Hybris, Data exchange and integration, custom extension development, etc.)
  • Java Enterprise
  • Spring Framework
  • JavaScript/jQuery
  • Source Control experience (e.g. Git, CVS, Subversion)
