Job Description Summary
The Sr. Solutions Architect is a person who has hands-on experience with building cloud-native applications. The person would work closely with our vendor, business partner(s) to onboard their applications to integrate with our eco-systems and develop data integration patterns, business API interactions, and re-engineer applications to fully leverage the organizations IT Enterprise Applications. The Sr. Solutions Architect should be able to work on cutting edge, business-critical projects at the forefront of application development and cloud technology adoption.

Leadership Skills:

  • Demonstrate success as a software developer, application architect, product manager, CTO, or consultant working with various platforms
  • Work directly with customers, partners or third-party developers
  • Presenting at public events such as technology conferences, hackathons, blogging writing.

Technical Skills:

  • Work as a technical leader alongside various development leads, delivery managers & directing juniors & Application Architects.
  • Lead technical and design discussions with IT executives to help enterprises speed their adoption of new technologies and practices.
  • Architect and build highly scalable, cloud-native applications.
  • Leverage new technology paradigms (e.g., serverless, containers, microservices, AI, Blockchain, Machine Learning)
  • Participate in entire development lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop solutions
  • Leverage microservices architecture patterns
  • Ability to provide guidance and mentoring across the full development stack
  • Advise on implementing Cloud-native & EAI Patterns best practices.
  • Influence infrastructure architecture by sharing your application development expertise.
  • Good exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration and automated deployment
  • Continuous Integration (CI) tools (e.g. Jenkins)

Requirements

  • Education:  Minimum bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University preferred in science, math or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years’ experience within the IT App dev and delivery organization.
    • 5+ years of hands-on software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture
    • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Company, in its discretion may find appropriate and acceptable.

Key Competencies

  • Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and secure web applications using Angular, Nodejs and Springboot
  • Intimate Knowledge of web Services, Java and architecting experience towards integration solutions.
  • Experience with global continuous delivery methods
  • Development with Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript/Node JS
  • Knowledge or development experience with Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and microservices architecture
  • Demonstrated experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle
  • Curiosity about how complex technical systems successfully operate at scale when failure is inevitable
  • People who see influence as their preferred tool for cultivating relationships
  • Collaboration and continuous improvement
  • A desire to learn and readiness to teach/document
  • Iteration as the path forward
